When Davood arrives in Tehran from Shiraz, he goes to visit his old friend, Kazem. Kazem accepts him in his family. Kazem, who has been married to Hajar for several years, is interested in his wife’s sister, Zeinab. He sends her suitors away in the hope that he will get her one day.
